Meditation and Attachment

Tuesday January 28th 2020 at 11:30 am -12:30 pm

Tried meditation and find it hard to sustain a regular practice or notice big wave emotions show up just as you start to quite your mind? This introduction class will explore the basic neurology of attachment and how our early life experiences play a part in building your meditation practice. Taught  by Margaret Jessop, PsyD a local child psychologist and author of Hornets and Hippos: How to Use Imagination, Mindfulness, and Brain Science to Decrease Fear and Anger and Reach your Goals.
This class will include light movement, breath focus meditation and teaching. All experience levels welcome.

Those who join me for this class will be invited to join an ongoing meditation group with the intention of moving your practice to the next level. The time and date of the class will be determined after the class.

Registration for this workshop is through Beyond Zen Studios.
